PASTAGUSTO TREBS ERVARINGEN PRO
Trebs PastaGusto Pro Fully Automatic Pasta Maker Museumhead delivers a discourse on Korean contemporary art from an unbiased point of view and provides a nondiscriminatory space for creation and exhibitions, which can be shared in a broader scope of society. It keeps asking who can and cannot make, speak of, deal with art, and when/how/why people call for art. Museumhead offers a borderless and unbiased space that constantly recalls possible effects of art and exhibition. In doing so, Museumhead supports and introduces their experiments and creation with a series of exhibitions, publications, and programmes. Instead, the space pursues to be an independent and sustainable public sphere in collaboration with artists who take the city of Seoul and what is called today urgent and problematic. Museumhead is against the idea of contemporaneity, acknowledged with unconditional praise of youth and synchronism, and refuses to take a role of temporal introducer or mediator promoting the minor, new and young. In these days when the notion of exhibition/curating itself keeps being questioned and alternated, Museumhead make endeavors to create, break through, and renew “exhibitions.” Accordingly, the space aims to seize fast-changing and ever-glimmering moments of Korean contemporary art and share them through more articulated forms of exhibitions and programmes. It is dedicated to perceiving and valuing the physical presence of exhibition/curating.

Museumhead is a non-profit exhibition space, which opened in December 2020, in Seoul.
